Accounting Manager - Slavic Gospel Association (SGA)

📋 Description

• Lead day-to-day accounting operations, ensuring accurate, timely, and well-controlled financial
• Manage monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close activities, including review of journal
• Maintain the integrity of the general ledger and financial records while overseeing cash
• Prepare monthly and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP and applicable nonprofit
• Develop financial reports, analyses, and supporting schedules for executive leadership and the

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting is required; a CPA designation is strongly preferred, or equivalent
• At least 5 years of progressively responsible accounting experience.
• Strong nonprofit and fund accounting experience, including experience preparing audited financial
• Supervisory or team leadership experience is preferred.
• Thorough knowledge of GAAP and nonprofit accounting practices.
• Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central or a comparable ERP system is preferred.
