📋 Description

• Own end-to-end compute build-out strategy in Japan, coordinating site selection, construction and
• Lead cross-functional team in-country across leasing, energy, policy, government relations
• Provide working leadership to in-country team, align stakeholders, and unblock issues.
• Represent Anthropic with government officials, utilities, energy providers, and external
• Build relationships with government and energy industry to support site, power, and policy outcomes.
• Track progress and surface risks as compute footprint scales from initial sites to multi-gigawatt

🎯 Requirements

• Japanese national with established links into government and energy industry preferred.
• Structured thinker with ability to learn new domains quickly and go deep fast.
• Excellent communicator; comfortable representing Anthropic to senior stakeholders.
• Proven ability to lead and coordinate cross-functional teams without direct line authority.
• Hyper-organized and detail-oriented; able to manage multiple concurrent workstreams.
• Comfortable with ambiguity; problem solver who brings structure to undefined situations.
