Job Description
📋 Description
- Lead privacy and data protection program globally, including AI-related matters.
- Manage in-house and outside counsel to protect personal data assets.
- Advise on privacy laws, data protection risks, and regulatory readiness.
- Oversee drafting and negotiation of data sharing, licensing, and BI/AI data agreements.
- Coordinate cross-functional privacy initiatives with engineers, HR, IT, and executives.
- Mentor legal team members and allocate resources efficiently.
🎯 Requirements
- Juris Doctorate
- Bar membership in at least one U.S. jurisdiction
- Minimum 13 years in global data privacy/regulatory matters
- Preferred: California bar eligibility or in-house counsel
- Strong contract drafting and negotiation, incl. data protection agreements
- Excellent communication and leadership capabilities
