📋 Description
- Own pipeline and infrastructure engineering for a cfDNA research informatics team.
- Lead WDL workflows, transition toward Nextflow, and AWS infrastructure tooling.
- Enable scientists to process their samples end-to-end with minimal engineer involvement.
🎯 Requirements
- Strong Python and software engineering fundamentals with testing and debugging practice.
- Experience with at least one workflow system (Snakemake, CWL, WDL, Nextflow, etc.).
- Real cloud experience, ideally AWS, with infrastructure as code (Terraform preferred).
- Solid Linux, container, and version control practices.
- Built at least one AI-assisted workflow in production; ability to explain its impact.
- Track record of quickly picking up unfamiliar tools; strong written communication for documentation.
