Laboratory Assistant

📋 Description

• Receive shipments and document appropriately
• Answer phones; aid callers when needed
• Examine samples for type and volume
• Contact client to resolve sample/testing issues
• Operate front end processing automation equipment
• Accession samples and prepare for testing

🎯 Requirements

• High school diploma required
• 2 years clinical laboratory experience preferred
• Comfortable with raw specimen handling
• Read, interpret, and comply with SOPs and maintenance docs
• PC-based software skills; 1 year data entry preferred
