📋 Description
- Define and drive technical direction for foundational web capabilities used by product engineers
- Assess frameworks, tooling, and patterns on the web client to identify high-impact improvements.
- Lead platform investments to simplify development, reduce friction, and improve consistency across
- Partner with product, platform, design, and infrastructure teams on scalable patterns and long-term
- Shape evolution of data fetching in a hybrid GraphQL/REST environment and contribute to framework
- Establish best practices, reusable abstractions, and guidance to raise quality and maintainability
🎯 Requirements
- 8+ years of web software engineering in large-scale web applications.
- Deep understanding of caching, latency, reliability, and developer ergonomics in modern web clients.
- Expert-level coding in JavaScript/TypeScript (optional Python); production-quality code.
- Knowledge of Node.js, server-side rendering techniques, and GraphQL frameworks like Relay.
- Strong experience with GraphQL and REST; ability to define clear usage patterns.
- Proven ability to evaluate complex systems and lead cross-team execution on foundational platform
🎁 Benefits
- Pay transparency with base salary range: $177,185 – $364,795 USD (US-based applicants).
