Senior Public Sector Counsel

📋 Description

• Lead Harvey’s government and public sector legal function.
• Interface with GTM, business, and cross-functional teams to execute government agreements.
• Draft, review, and negotiate government contracts and AI SaaS/tech agreements with FAR/compliance
• Provide contract lifecycle counsel and training for legal and cross-functional teams.
• Be flexible to base in NY, SF, Chicago, or Dallas on hybrid work model, or fully remote within the

🎯 Requirements

• Law degree from an accredited law school.
• Admitted and in good standing in at least one jurisdiction (CA, NY, or DC preferred).
• 7+ years of law firm and/or in-house experience.
• Transactional background with SaaS, tech, IP licensing and public sector focus.
• Experience negotiating complex gov’t contracts with federal, state, or local entities.
• Working knowledge of FAR, DFARS, and related procurement processes.

• Compensation: $210,300 - $300,000 USD.
