Manager of Bioinformatics (Women's Health and Organ Health)

📋 Description

• Lead production support for bioinformatics and data science algorithms in Women’s Health and Organ
• Manage a team of Data and Bioinformatics Scientists; interface with production org.
• Resolve inconclusive reports by weighing evidence and guiding upstream changes.
• Coordinate cross-functional groups across Production Engineering, Product, lab, and R&D.

🎯 Requirements

• MS or PhD in Bioinformatics, Computational Biology, Data Science, or related field (or equivalent
• 5+ years genomic/sequencing data experience; 2+ years in people leadership.
• Proven ownership of support/escalation/on-call with definite commitments.
• Experience leading investigations across multiple systems and achieving resolutions.
• Ability to reach agreement across org lines without formal authority; strong communication.
