📋 Description

• Lead editorial coverage across Hollywood, TV, film, celebrities, streaming, awards
• Develop daily and long-term entertainment coverage plans around breaking news
• Monitor breaking developments, identify significant stories, coordinate coverage
• Guide, train, mentor writers and sub-editors with feedback
• Assign stories, shape reporting, analysis, and commentary
• Review, edit, and occasionally write stories to high standards

🎯 Requirements

• Significant experience editing or leading entertainment coverage
• Experience managing editorial teams in newsroom/digital environments
• Strong understanding of entertainment industry, studios, streaming, awards
• Excellent editing, research, fact-checking, analytical skills
• Ability to distinguish facts, claims, analysis, and opinion
• Experience planning coverage around breaking news and major events
