Associate Sourcing Specialist (R5490)

📋 Description

• Collaborate across engineering, manufacturing, and operations to secure resources for development
• Source and procure mechanical commodities for aerospace/defense programs.
• Lead supplier quotations, pricing, lead times, and purchase orders.
• Manage supplier relationships to ensure on-time delivery and quality.
• Review drawings, BOMs, and engineering changes with suppliers.
• Support NPI activities with supplier quotes and prototype builds.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years in purchasing, sourcing, or supply chain for manufacturing/aerospace.
• Experience sourcing mechanical commodities: machined parts, sheet metal, weldments, fasteners
• Ability to read engineering drawings, BOMs, and specs.
• Experience obtaining quotations and managing purchase orders.
• Understanding of manufacturing processes (CNC, welding, assembly).
