📋 Description

• Design terminal gimbal and coarse-steering mechanisms for moving satellites
• Develop telescope structures, enclosures, and load paths for stability
• Own structural analysis for stiffness and survival loads
• Define mechanism requirements with PAT and GNC teams
• Drive manufacturability and repeatable assembly for production
• Support integration and field deployment from bench to site

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s or advanced degree in mechanical engineering
• Mechanism design depth: gimbals, rotation stages, actuators
• FEA experience (ANSYS Mechanical or equivalent)
• Professional 3D CAD (NX, SolidWorks, Creo) with toleranced drawings
• Hands-on prototyping, assembly, test experience
• Ability to move fast and decide with partial data
