Job Description
📋 Description
- Define how Anthropic's GSOC detects, responds to, and recovers from incidents impacting people
- Write the GSOC plan and policy with functions, severity matrix, templates, and SLAs for response
- Design global incident-specific response protocols and corresponding operator/business playbooks.
- Create a simple on-call rotation and call tree to ensure continuous Incident Commander coverage.
- Collaborate with Legal, HR, Communications to establish notification thresholds and obligations.
- Roll out training and secure senior leadership sign-off for the policy.
🎯 Requirements
- 8+ years in GSOCs, security operations, crisis management, or related fields.
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in a relevant area.
- Experience authoring security or emergency response policy formally adopted by an organization.
- Experience as Incident Commander or in equivalent command during live incidents.
- Knowledge of ISO 22320:2018 or ICS/NIMS, and how to adapt frameworks to an organization.
- Strong written communication for operators, partners, and executives; able to manage a
