CAAS Manager, Real Estate

📋 Description

• Lead full-cycle accounting for real estate clients, including property-level accounting, general
• Primary contact for owners, investors, developers, and property management teams; provide client
• Manage accounting for real estate portfolios, including AP/AR, tenant activity, and capex.
• Review bank reconciliations, escrows, management fee calculations, and sales tax filings.
• Train and mentor junior accountants; deliver feedback for growth and performance excellence.
• Deliver timely, accurate financial information and foster strong client relationships.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting; CPA preferred
• 6+ years in public accounting, consulting, or outsourced accounting; real estate experience required
• Proficiency with Yardi; experience with QuickBooks Online, Sage Intacct, Foundations, Xero
• Ability to design scalable accounting processes; strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills; ability to work in a team
• Ability to adapt to changing priorities and manage multiple tasks
