📋 Description Review medical records and assign accurate diagnosis and procedure codes. Assign and sequence codes per guidelines and standards. Determine discharge dispositions and abstract data for reporting. Maintain coding accuracy and meet productivity standards. Identify documentation improvement opportunities and raise concerns. Collaborate with staff on documentation and reimbursement questions. 🎯 Requirements AHIMA RHIA, RHIT, or CCS, or AAPC CPC, CPC-H, COC, CIC, CRC. 3+ years of medical coding experience in hospital, outpatient, or consulting. Experience with outpatient coding such as same-day surgery, ED, injections/infusions, ancillary Strong knowledge of medical terminology, coding guidelines, and reimbursement processes. Experience using computerized encoding and abstracting software.
