Financial Control Manager

📋 Description Financial control role within Retail Finance across multiple UK locations (London, Hove, Cardiff). Maintain robust financial control environment, balance sheet integrity, governance and stakeholder Coach junior team member and collaborate with Retail and Group colleagues. Lead reviews of controls and governance to align with Finance standards. Identify opportunities to improve processes and controls; drive pragmatic change. Prepare and review monthly, quarterly and annual balance sheet; provide MI on reporting and risk. 🎯 Requirements A qualified accountant or equivalent experience. Experience in financial control, reporting or controller work in a large/regulated environment. Strong knowledge of financial control frameworks, governance and risk management. Understanding of insurance accounting, IFRS, Solvency II and SAO regulatory reporting. Experience managing reporting cycles, balance sheet activity, technical accounting judgments and Analytical, stakeholder engagement, and pragmatic problem solver with continuous improvement 🎁 Benefits Bonus plan and share schemes.
