📋 Description The Associate General Counsel will oversee legal strategy and compliance for consumer finance Serve as the primary legal advisor for the complete homeowner origination lifecycle, including Provide guidance on federal and state regulations impacting consumer finance and home equity Manage consumer finance compliance matters, including UDAAP, fair lending requirements, and other Review and approve product materials, marketing campaigns, and customer-facing communications to Draft, negotiate, and manage vendor, title, escrow, and transaction-support agreements. 🎯 Requirements 7+ years of legal experience, ideally combining law firm, regulatory, and/or in-house experience Juris Doctor (JD) degree required, with active membership in good standing with a U.S. state bar. Strong understanding of consumer finance products, residential mortgage-related products, and Knowledge of consumer protection requirements, including UDAAP and fair lending principles. Experience advising on privacy and data security compliance, including GLBA and CCPA, preferred.
