Civil Engineer, Land Development (Starship Infrastructure)

📋 Description Develop and issue drawings, design documentation, and reports for land development projects related Perform calculations for grading, drainage, stormwater control, water quality, and utility systems Coordinate and design to obtain local, state, and federal permits for land development and utilities Manage civil aspects of construction in the field including QA/QC, conflict resolution, and Interact with contractors, owners, and internal clients to define project requirements, schedule Resolve design and construction conflicts in real-time in the field 🎯 Requirements Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or another engineering discipline 1+ years of professional experience in civil engineering design, analysis, and/or drafting Proficiency in stormwater management, hydraulics, grading, and related site development designs Understanding of electrical, piping, geotechnical, surveying disciplines; EIT or PE license Ability to adapt roles quickly in a high-pace, high-urgency environment Experience with project management including estimating, cost control, scheduling, and contractor 🎁 Benefits Air Force background check eligibility for Cape Canaveral site Physical requirements include lifting up to 35 lbs and working outdoors in varied conditions OT/on-call hours may be required; ITAR compliance responsibilities SpaceX is an equal opportunity employer; accommodation available upon request
