Lead Data Scientist - Knowledge Retrieval

📋 Description Lead data scientists and AI engineers to deliver AI solutions for national security. Design, develop, and deploy scalable AI solutions for knowledge retrieval. Build agentic search, knowledge retrieval, and deep research systems. Mentor junior and senior engineers to deliver state-of-the-art results. Translate AI concepts for technical and non-technical audiences. May require up to 10% travel. 🎯 Requirements Minimum 7 years of Data Scientist experience in industry. Experience leading large-scale AI projects end-to-end. Expertise in Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) and embedding models. Experience with LLMs, multi-modal embeddings, vector databases, knowledge graphs. MLOps experience with deploying large-scale models in cloud environments (GCP/AWS/Azure). Translate requirements into actionable technical plans and production AI solutions.
