Project Accountant

📋 Description Set up new projects in ERP with budgets, billing terms, and revenue methods Monitor project performance: labor, expenses, consultant costs, profitability Analyze budget vs actual performance and earned revenue Collaborate with Project Managers to maintain budgets and forecasts Ensure proper project coding and cost allocation Prepare and process client invoices, including progress billing 🎯 Requirements 3-7 years of project-based accounting experience Experience in civil engineering, architecture, or professional services preferred Strong understanding of project accounting principles Knowledge of billing methods (percent complete, time & materials, lump sum) Proficient in job costing and budgeting Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
