📋 Description Serve as trusted partner and primary contact for Marketing, Product, Engineering, and Operations. Assess legal risks in product development across privacy, regulatory, licensing, and IP. Identify and resolve issues around data privacy, security, export control, OSS, and AI. Help shape long-term strategy and priorities for the product counsel function. Advise on US/global privacy laws (CCPA, GDPR) and emerging AI regulations. Draft and negotiate complex commercial and data protection agreements. 🎯 Requirements Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school and active bar in at least one US state. 8+ years of in-house experience supporting SaaS, PaaS, or IaaS product teams. Track record counseling AI product/engineering teams through lifecycle from design to launch. A low-ego, roll-up-your-sleeves attitude with a growth mindset. Ability to translate complex legal advice into actionable guidance for Product/Engineering/Operations.
