📋 Description Lead initiatives to improve Elasticsearch search and relevance. Design and implement new search features and bug fixes. Invent or adapt algorithms/structures for scalable search. Collaborate with a globally distributed team via email, GitHub, Slack. Own technical direction for search capabilities and performance. 🎯 Requirements Professional experience with search and vector databases; used HNSW or IVF. Strong Java skills; deep knowledge of core data structures and concurrency (lambdas). Experience with Elasticsearch and Lucene-based search tech. Familiar with data storage tech: Elasticsearch, Solr, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Cassandra. Able to work autonomously and drive projects end-to-end.
