📋 Description Lead design and validation of advanced mission behaviors for prototype vehicles Support rapid prototyping end-to-end from concept to hardware-in-the-loop test Own the advanced behaviors discipline — standards and validation methods Conduct feasibility assessments of new opportunities and required approaches Collaborate with program leads and Archer engineers to align with timelines Produce technical docs, trade studies, and analysis packages for reviews 🎯 Requirements Bachelor's degree in Aerospace, Computer Science, Robotics, or related field Demonstrated experience developing or validating mission-level behaviors for autonomous aerospace/defense systems Familiarity with behavior modeling, simulation environments, and scenario-based validation Demonstrated ability to work across the full development lifecycle — concept through prototype — in a fast-paced environment 8–12 years of relevant engineering experience in rapid-prototyping/advanced-programs environments Must be a U.S. Person and able to obtain/maintain U.S. government security clearance 🎁 Benefits Reasonable accommodations for applicants with disabilities or religious beliefs Equal Opportunity employer committed to diversity and inclusion Archer does not engage with external recruiting agencies without a prior written agreement
