📋 Description Patent prosecution and invention harvesting with outside counsel support. Manage Elastic's global IP portfolio (patents, copyrights, trademarks). Brand protection: domain disputes, takedowns, enforcement. Coordinate product regulatory governance and launch readiness with teams. Open-source licensing and compliance programs for engineering teams. Draft and review commercial contracts; update AI/IP playbooks. 🎯 Requirements 2-5+ years in patent prosecution, IP or product law; SaaS/open-source a plus. Bachelor's or advanced degree in science/engineering; software background helpful. US or Canadian Patent Bar admission; JD/LLB preferred; patent agents eligible. Patent proficiency: drafting/reviewing patent applications and claims. Technical curiosity: interest in Generative AI and code/data law.
