Environmental Health & Safety Specialist

📋 Description Perform reviews of manufacturing and test procedures and draft JHAs to define hazard controls. Establish preventive maintenance for safety-critical gear, including air monitors, fall protection and respirators. Calibrate and service a wide array of EHS instrumentation. Maintain records for industrial hygiene studies, remediation sampling, training, and work permits. Qualify PPE requirements via hazard analyses and consensus standards (NIOSH/ANSI). Test active and passive machine guarding devices across applications. 🎯 Requirements Bachelor’s degree or HS diploma with 4+ years EHS experience BCSP certification (ASP, CSP, SMS, OHST) Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook) Strong organizational skills and multi-tasking Ability to accept constructive criticism and course correct Thrives in fast-paced environment
