Job Description
📋 Description Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes across multiple multifamily properties and entities Review, approve, and independently sign off on property-level financial statements in accordance with GAAP Oversee reconciliations including bank accounts, security deposits, taxes, and intercompany accounts Oversee A/P, A/R, cash management, and treasury-related processes Build and optimize financial reporting tools using Microsoft Excel Manage and mentor a team of remote/offshore property accountants and accounting support staff 🎯 Requirements 8+ years of accounting experience within real estate accounting Strong multifamily property accounting experience; Yardi expertise CPA designation preferred Experience overseeing large portfolios and remote/offshore accounting teams Advanced proficiency in Yardi and Microsoft Excel Deep understanding of accrual accounting and property-level reporting; NYC filings experience 🎁 Benefits Medical, dental, vision, life insurance; 401(k); paid time off and holidays
