Controls Technician

📋 Description

• Assist in the implementation and modification of BMS, EPMS, and SCADA systems for data centers
• Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting of critical systems (e.g., chillers, pumps, power
• Support the preparation and updating of HMI graphics and interfaces for system monitoring.
• Maintain automated controls for fire safety and emergency shutdown procedures (ESOP).
• Help monitor and report on key metrics like PUE and infrastructure performance via dashboards.
• Coordinate with teams to respond to utility grid events and adjust systems as needed.

🎯 Requirements

• Associate's Degree in a technical field (e.g., Controls Technology, Mechatronics, Automation, or
• 3+ years of hands-on experience as a technician working with industrial control systems.
• Experience with Ignition SCADA or similar programming.
• Familiarity with Siemens TIA Portal or equivalent PLC programming.
• Proficiency in troubleshooting industrial equipment using IEC 61131-3 languages (e.g., ladder
• Experience with hardware from Siemens, SEL, Rockwell, or similar.
