Software Engineer (Python) — Programmable Networking

📋 Description

• Build customer-facing APIs that provision and manage real network resources across global Points of
• Develop the network orchestration control plane with asynchronous Python services for IPAM
• Automate network infrastructure with Ansible/SSH-based tooling for Linux networking components.
• Integrate with cloud providers to provision interconnects and connect customer networks to AWS
• Contribute to Go-based Envoy xDS control-plane services and manage edge data planes.
• Own production reliability, monitoring, incident response, and durable engineering improvements.

🎯 Requirements

• Strong software engineering background with production APIs and distributed systems.
• Advanced Python experience with asyncio, aiohttp, uvloop, SQLAlchemy; Go experience also expected.
• Hands-on networking expertise: BGP, OSPF, ECMP, EVPN/VXLAN, VRFs, GRE, NAT, WireGuard; comfortable
• Infrastructure automation using Ansible, SSH tooling, idempotent config management, and safe
• PostgreSQL knowledge beyond ORM, including migrations and queue patterns.
• Cross-layer troubleshooting across hardware, networking, OS, and applications.
