Software Engineer (Python) — Programmable Networking

📋 Description

• Build customer-facing APIs that provision and manage real network resources globally.
• Develop asynchronous Python services for network orchestration and deployment workflows.
• Automate network infra with Ansible and SSH-based tooling across Linux networks.
• Integrate with cloud platforms to provision cross-connects and interconnects.
• Contribute to infrastructure control planes and edge data planes (Envoy/xDS).
• Operate production networking systems with observability and incident handling.

🎯 Requirements

• Strong software engineering background with production APIs and distributed systems.
• Advanced Python experience: asyncio, aiohttp, uvloop, SQLAlchemy; Go knowledge welcome.
• Hands-on networking: BGP, OSPF, ECMP, EVPN/VXLAN, VRFs, WireGuard, GRE, Linux networking; FRR/VyOS
• Automation across networks: Ansible, idempotent config management, safe rollout/rollback, config
• PostgreSQL knowledge with schema design and live migrations; experience with queue patterns.
• Cross-layer troubleshooting using network and application logs and tools.
