CNC Machinist (Materials Lab) - Level 4/5

📋 Description

• Operate CNC mill, lathe, wire EDM, waterjet and other shop equipment
• Machining for metallic test specimens and fixtures
• Inspect, rework and verify parts per drawings
• Maintain and repair production machinery
• Read and interpret engineering drawings and notes
• Assist in cross-team projects and lab capabilities

🎯 Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 5+ years CNC experience (vertical mills, turning centers, or wire EDM)
• 2+ years in test specimen machining (preferred)
• Proficiency with dial indicators, bore gauges, micrometers, calipers
• Experience with Fanuc, Sodick controls
• Ability to read prints and interpret GD&T
