Software Engineer (Python) — Programmable Networking

📋 Description

• Build customer-facing APIs that provision and manage real network resources across global Points of
• Develop asynchronous Python services for network orchestration and infrastructure control planes.
• Automate networking using Ansible/SSH tooling; manage IPAM, NAT, routing, and health checks.
• Integrate with cloud providers to provision interconnects into AWS/Azure/Google Cloud.
• Contribute to Envoy/xDS control-plane services and edge data plane configuration.
• Own production reliability, incident response, and deployment workflows.

🎯 Requirements

• Strong software engineering background with production APIs and distributed systems.
• Advanced Python experience with asyncio, aiohttp, uvloop, SQLAlchemy; Go knowledge helpful.
• Practical networking expertise (BGP, OSPF, EVPN/VXLAN, VRFs, WireGuard, Linux networking).
• Experience automating network fleets using Ansible, SSH tooling, idempotent config management, and
• Strong PostgreSQL knowledge; schema design and migrations on live systems.
• Cross-layer troubleshooting and systems thinking for asynchronous jobs and fault tolerance.
