Senior Manager, Endpoint Protections

📋 Description

• Lead a globally distributed engineering team focused on endpoint protections and Elastic Defend.
• Drive roadmap, balance efficacy and performance across Windows, macOS, and Linux.
• Mentor engineers, manage hiring, and contribute technically through design review and coding.
• Represent the team externally at conferences and with customers/partners.
• Coordinate machine learning efforts and telemetry features across Elastic Security.
• Ensure cross-platform parity and strong collaboration with product teams.

🎯 Requirements

• Senior-level leadership with people-management of senior ICs across distributed teams.
• Hands-on security research background; experience analyzing attacker TTPs and shipping protections
• Deep OS internals knowledge (Windows preferred), kernel and user mode, with cross-OS exposure.
• Hands-on reverse engineering and malware analysis experience.
• Adversarial mindset, anticipating evasion and building resilient protections.
• Excellent communication for technical and executive audiences; comfortable cross-functional
