Job Description
📋 Description
- Lead APQP implementation across new product intro and existing lines.
- Develop and maintain PPAP packages, Control Plans, and FMEA.
- Assist in establishing and maintaining the quality management system.
- Monitor and drive action from First Pass Yield, nonconformance, and RMA data with cross-functional
- Interface with Engineering, Operations, and Supply Chain to ensure conformance.
- Identify measurement and metrology technologies; evaluate new measurement/test tech.
🎯 Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field preferred.
- 5+ years as a Quality Engineer in automotive/aerospace with APQP/PPAP ownership.
- Deep experience with APQP, PPAP, FMEA, and Control Plans.
- IATF 16949 familiarity preferred but not required for certification purposes.
- Advanced knowledge of statistics: SPC, probability, Cpk/Ppk, Gage R&R/MSA.
- Root cause analysis and structured problem-solving skills (8D, 5-Why, fishbone); Six Sigma a plus.
