Senior Cloud FinOps engineer

📋 Description

• Lead cloud cost analysis across AWS, Azure, and GCP.
• Identify rightsizing, idle resources, and data transfer optimizations.
• Own cost allocation for containerized workloads and AI/GPU spend.
• Develop dashboards, budgets, forecasts, and showback/chargeback views.
• Collaborate with CloudOps, DevOps, finance, and client teams on delivery.
• Provide business-facing recommendations translating technical findings to value.

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years in cloud engineering or FinOps, with 3+ years in cloud financial management.
• Subject matter expertise in at least one major cloud (AWS/Azure/GCP).
• Working proficiency in SQL and scripting (Python/PowerShell).
• Experience with cloud cost tools (native or third-party).
• Strong data analysis, dashboards, and reporting capabilities.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States.
