📋 Description
- Own the enterprise Linux platform roadmap, including OS lifecycle, patching strategy
- Define engineering standards, platform build patterns, and reliability-focused processes across
- Design and implement scalable Linux solutions across on-premises and cloud infra.
- Act as technical authority for compute, virtualization, storage integration, and core Linux
- Lead architecture discussions, design reviews, and key engineering decisions for Linux platforms.
- Drive automation and Infrastructure as Code with Ansible, Terraform, Bash, and Python.
🎯 Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 7–10+ years in engineering and operating Linux platforms in enterprise environments (8–10 years
- Deep expertise in SUSE Linux, RHEL, or equivalent across large-scale deployments.
- Advanced Bash and Python scripting; Perl is a plus.
- Automation and IaC experience with Ansible, Terraform, Puppet, or similar.
- Strong virtualization experience with VMware vSphere or equivalent.
