📋 Description
- Own the enterprise Linux platform roadmap, including OS lifecycle, patching, standardization, debt
- Define and maintain engineering standards, platform build patterns, operational practices
- Design and implement scalable, resilient Linux solutions across on-prem and cloud.
- Act as technical authority for compute, virtualization, storage integration, and core Linux
- Lead architecture discussions, design reviews, and key engineering decisions for Linux platforms.
- Drive automation and Infrastructure as Code with Ansible, Terraform, Bash, and Python.
🎯 Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in CS/IT or equivalent experience.
- 7–10+ years engineering and operating Linux platforms in enterprise environments (8–10 years
- Deep expertise in SUSE Linux, RHEL (or equivalent).
- Advanced Bash and Python; Perl an advantage.
- Experience with automation IaC using Ansible, Terraform, Puppet, or similar.
- Strong virtualization experience with VMware vSphere or equivalents.
