Linux Platform Engineer

📋 Description

• Own the enterprise Linux platform roadmap and lifecycle management.
• Define engineering standards, platform build patterns, and reliability practices.
• Design scalable Linux solutions across on-prem and cloud.
• Act as technical authority for compute, virtualization, storage, and core Linux services.
• Lead architecture discussions and design reviews for Linux platforms.
• Drive automation and Infrastructure as Code with Ansible, Terraform, Bash, Python.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's in CS/IT or equivalent experience.
• 7–10+ years engineering and operating Linux platforms in enterprise environments.
• Deep expertise in SUSE/RHEL or equivalent across large-scale deployments.
• Proficiency with Bash and Python; Perl a plus.
• Automation/IaC with Ansible, Terraform, Puppet, or similar.
• Experience with VMware vSphere or similar virtualization.
