📋 Description
- Own enterprise Linux platform roadmap, lifecycle, patching, standardization, and modernization.
- Define engineering standards, platform build patterns, and reliability practices.
- Design scalable Linux solutions across on-prem and cloud infra.
- Act as technical authority for compute, virtualization, storage, and core Linux services.
- Lead architecture discussions and key engineering decisions for Linux platforms.
- Drive automation and Infrastructure as Code with Ansible, Terraform, Bash, Python.
🎯 Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in CS/IT or equivalent experience.
- 7–10+ years Linux engineering/operations in enterprises (8–10 yrs preferred).
- Deep expertise in SUSE Linux, RHEL, or equivalent.
- Bash and Python scripting; Perl is a plus.
- Automation/IaC with Ansible, Terraform, Puppet, etc.
- Virtualization experience with VMware vSphere or similar.
