Staff Software Engineer, AI-Native Systems

📋 Description

• Own the technical direction for AI-native domain (agent architecture, platform abstractions
• Serve as technical lead for squads, decompose problems, sequence delivery, remove blockers.
• Lead architecture decisions, write reviews, establish technical ownership across initiatives.
• Design and build production AI agents with retrieval, orchestration, tool calls, evaluation
• Define standards for production-ready AI agents (testability, rollback, cost controls, safety).
• Build shared AI platform abstractions and guardrails for safe, scalable AI integration.

🎯 Requirements

• 8+ years building/operating production software, strong full-stack depth in TypeScript/Node.js and
• Proven technical leadership as an IC, ownership of domain, cross-team influence.
• Hands-on experience designing/deploying agentic systems in production (retrieval, orchestration
• Strong understanding of LLMs, AI agents, and business value judgment.
• Ability to take loosely defined problems from discovery through iteration and deployment.
