Welding Inspector - Cleveland - Short Term Contract

📋 Description

• Perform dimensional inspections, visual inspections, and marking verifications on metal parts.
• Use simple equipment (tape measures, calipers, gauges) provided by client to measure and verify
• Prepare detailed inspection reports and document results; record non-conformities.
• Investigate non-conformities and assist in corrective actions.
• Communicate effectively with welders, engineers, and other personnel.

🎯 Requirements

• AWS CWI or API 510 (one of the listed qualifications).
• 5-10 years of industrial welding-related inspection experience; 5 years in QA/vendor
• Experience inspecting welds on pipelines, pressure vessels, heat exchangers, and related equipment

🎁 Benefits

• Contract type: sub-contractor agreement.
• Work schedule: 5 days/week, up to 10 hours/day (Mon-Fri).
• Pay rate: $45-50 per hour; per diems to be discussed.
