Safety Specialist

📋 Description

• Promote safety culture and serve as a visible resource for employees.
• Conduct routine observations of production and support activities to identify unsafe conditions and
• Lead investigations of incidents and near-misses to determine root causes and corrective actions.
• Develop, review, and continuously improve safety policies and programs.
• Coordinate training and maintain safety records; ensure employees are qualified for
• Lead emergency response activities and conduct drills to ensure preparedness.

🎯 Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Minimum five (5) years of progressive experience in manufacturing or industrial safety.
• Experience in an active manufacturing facility; knowledge of OSHA requirements.
• Experience conducting incident investigations and implementing corrective actions.
• Emergency responder experience or related public safety background (3+ years) preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
