Logistics & Expediting Manager

📋 Description

• Own inbound logistics plan for major equipment
• Plan heavy-haul routing and permits
• Manage vendor expediting for critical-path POs and FAT coordination
• Manage freight forwarders, carriers, and shipping terms
• Schedule deliveries with site constraints and crane/laydown needs
• Resolve shipping damage, shortages, and claims

🎯 Requirements

• 6+ years in project logistics, traffic, or expediting for major capital projects
• Hands-on heavy-haul experience (100k-500k+ lb)
• Vendor expediting depth: factory milestones, FAT logistics
• Freight terms, insurance, and claims expertise
• Customs/import experience a plus
• Strong scheduling with a P6-driven need-date list
