Petroleum Inspector

📋 Description

• Physically samples, measures, and takes temperature of vessel and shore tanks per API procedures.
• Follows safety standards and works within defined procedures.
• Calculates and reports quantities and performs reconciliation of transfers.
• Completes reports using SGS Ship Inspection Report (SIR) and SAT systems.
• Collaborates with client reps, US Customs, vessel crews, and facility staff.
• Maintains communication with office staff on status and issues.

🎯 Requirements

• Education: High School or equivalent (Required)
• Experience: 6 months to 2 years in transferable industry (Preferred)
• Licenses: Valid Driver’s License (Required); TWIC (Preferred); Driver’s License/TWIC must be
• IFIA Certification (Preferred)
• Knowledge/Skills: English – Basic; Math basics; Intermediate reasoning; Good communication
• Computer Skills: MS Office (Basic to Intermediate, Required)
