Staff Software Engineer, Motion Planning

📋 Description

• Design, implement mission, behavior, and motion planners for airport ground support
• Drive planning stack decisions; define interfaces and architecture
• Prototype and evaluate planning approaches; production-ready ideas
• Collaborate with perception, controls, localization, and systems teams
• Promote software development and safety practices in planning
• Mentor engineers through guidance, code reviews, and discussions

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s in CS, Math, EE, ME, Robotics, or related field
• Hands-on planning modules for autonomous systems in production
• Strong C++ (preferred) or Python; Linux experience
• Ability to tackle ambiguous problems with well-architected solutions
• Excellent communication, proactiveness, ownership
