Welding Inspector - Cleveland - 1 month contract

📋 Description

• Perform dimensional inspections on metal parts.
• Carry out visual inspections and marking verifications.
• Prepare reports documenting inspection results.
• Record results and non-conformities.
• Communicate findings with welders and engineers.
• Follow drawings and dimensions provided by client.

🎯 Requirements

• AWS CWI or API 510 (one of the above).
• 5-10 years welding inspection experience.
• 5 years in QA/vendor surveillance/shop inspections.
• Experience inspecting welds on pipelines, pressure vessels, etc.
• Experience witnessing NDE tests (UT, PT, MT, RT).

🎁 Benefits

• Contract: sub-contractor agreement.
• Work schedule: 5 days/week, up to 10 hrs/day.
• Pay: $45/hr to $50/hr; per diems TBD.
