Director of Finance

📋 Description

• Own the accounting function end-to-end: monthly close, accounts payable/receivable, and financial
• Invoicing and billing for pharma brand clients; manage A/R collections and DSO.
• Run payroll and ensure tax/regulatory compliance across jurisdictions.
• Build and maintain core financial models: three-statement model, cash flow forecasts, runway
• Design and implement financial controls, expense policy, and approval workflows.
• Prepare board-ready reporting and partner on budgeting/forecasting with co-founders.

🎯 Requirements

• GAAP knowledge and payroll compliance fundamentals.
• Strong financial controls and setting up scalable processes in a growing startup.
• Experience building financial models and board reporting.
• Proficiency with accounting tooling (e.g., QuickBooks, bill pay).
• Ability to own, from scratch, a finance function in an early-stage company.
• Excellent organizational, detail-oriented, and proactive collaboration skills.
