Senior Accountant

📋 Description

• In-depth involvement across all accounting areas with ownership of payroll, A/P, and month-end
• Manage General Ledger and prepare/post journal entries, ensuring GAAP compliance
• Complete all month-end close activities, including reconciliations for accruals, prepaids
• Participate in preparing schedules and supporting documents during audits (financial statements
• Run the bi-weekly payroll process for the company
• Identify and prioritize opportunities to automate and scale processes, analyses, and reporting

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required
• Active CPA designation preferred
• 5+ years of accounting experience with strong GL and month-end close
• 2+ years of public accounting experience preferred
• Experience with Sage Intacct preferred
• Experience reviewing lease agreements and ASC 842 knowledge
