Manager, Loan and Debt Accounting

📋 Description

• Oversee day-to-day loan portfolio and debt accounting.
• Lead month-end close for loan- and debt-related accounts.
• Supervise accounting staff; provide coaching and development.
• Improve processes and internal controls; automate where possible.
• Leverage AI-enabled tools to enhance workflows and reporting.
• Collaborate with Finance, Technology, and business teams.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Minimum 6 years of progressive accounting experience.
• Strong U.S. GAAP knowledge; ability to apply guidance.
• Experience with loan, lending, debt accounting.
• Proven leadership and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Willingness to use AI-enabled tools within controls framework.
