📋 Description

• Field-based role performing diabetic eye exams (retinal screenings).
• Travel to provider practices and patient homes daily; up to 100% travel in Birmingham, AL area.
• Operate company-provided retinal imaging equipment after training.
• Coordinate travel logistics; mileage and travel expenses reimbursed.
• Engage with team, providers, payers, and care teams virtually on non-appointment days.
• Maintain documentation and contribute to quality improvement and patient outreach.

🎯 Requirements

• Willingness to travel daily, up to 100% to provider practices; no imaging experience required.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Associate degree or higher in related field.
• 1–3 years in healthcare setting; knowledge of medical terminology and billing/coding helpful.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook, Teams; experience with healthcare systems.
• Strong verbal/written communication; detail-oriented with good organizational skills.
