Job Description
📋 Description
- Provide behavioral health support to K–12 students within a school-based setting.
- Promote emotional wellbeing and deliver behavioral health education.
- Coordinate care for students in need and connect families to resources.
- Conduct individual and group wellness activities to support student wellbeing.
- Facilitate prevention programming, crisis response, and wellness curricula.
- Collaborate with educators and mental health professionals to support students with IEPs.
🎯 Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in social work, psychology, counseling, or related field.
- 2+ years of experience working with children or adolescents in school, health, or community
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and collaboration skills.
- California Certified Wellness Coach certification (certification costs covered by ESS).
- Excellent time management and ability to coordinate care with families and school staff.
- Excellent understanding of adolescent development and behavioral health.
