Mental Health Wellness Coach

📋 Description

• Provide behavioral health support to K–12 students within a school-based setting.
• Promote emotional wellbeing and deliver behavioral health education.
• Coordinate care for students in need and connect families to resources.
• Conduct individual and group wellness activities to support student wellbeing.
• Facilitate prevention programming, crisis response, and wellness curricula.
• Collaborate with educators and mental health professionals to support students with IEPs.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in social work, psychology, counseling, or related field.
• 2+ years of experience working with children or adolescents in school, health, or community
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and collaboration skills.
• California Certified Wellness Coach certification (certification costs covered by ESS).
• Excellent time management and ability to coordinate care with families and school staff.
• Excellent understanding of adolescent development and behavioral health.
