Senior QA Automation Engineer

📋 Description

• Own end-to-end quality for critical payment journeys.
• Design and execute API-first test strategies for REST and transactions.
• Build and maintain automated API/UI test suites (Playwright, RestAssured).
• Develop reusable automation components and test data utilities.
• Test integrations with payment processors and Open Banking services.
• Investigate production incidents and contribute to root-cause analysis.

🎯 Requirements

• Proven experience in QA engineering or similar software quality role.
• Hands-on REST API testing: HTTP, JSON, validation, API-driven workflows.
• Strong understanding of backend systems and distributed services.
• Practical experience with test automation frameworks (Playwright, RestAssured).
• Ability to diagnose issues via logs, databases, API traces.
• Experience with asynchronous systems and transaction patterns.
